A man was found dead in the Ojodu Berger area of Lagos State.The body of the unidentified man was found early in the morning on Tuesday, October 31, at a truck garage in Berger.  An eyewitness, who gave his name as Wahab, told Punch that he saw the yet-to-be-identified man standing and leaning on the wall of the garage on Tuesday morning when some of the truck drivers came to pick up their trucks.There were no bruises or signs of physical violence on the body of the deceased who was only wearing black shorts.The eyewitness said, “When we got to the truck garage on Tuesday morning, around 8:30 am, we saw a young man; he was just wearing some dirty black shorts, standing and resting his head on the wall of the school where people park their trucks, thinking that he was still sleeping.“He looked rough and unkempt. Former footballer, Asamoah Gyan has been told to pay compensation to his ex-wife after it was confirmed that he is the biological father of their three children. The former Ghana captain and his ex-wife, Gifty, have been embroiled in a legal battle that involved allegations of infidelity and paternity doubts for three years.  The 37-year-old was later ordered to take a DNA test which confirmed him as their father.  A court in Accra have ordered Gyan to gift his ex-wife, a house in the UK, another home in Accra, a petrol station, and two cars. It was also ruled that the former Sunderland, Udinese, and Rennes forward must pay 25,000 Ghanaian cedis (£1,729) per month for the children. It's said the court ruled that Gifty had made a non-cash contribution to the purchase of the homes because she was the only one caring for the kids while Gyan plied his football career. EFCC bans sting operations at Night The chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ola Olukoyede, has directed that sting operations at night time be stopped in all the Commands of the EFCC. A statement released by the commission on Wednesday, November 1, said Olukoyede gave the directive in Abuja in reaction to the arrest of 69 suspected internet fraudsters by operatives of the Ibadan Zonal of the Commission in Ile-Ife, Osun State.   ‘’Already, many of the suspects duly profiled by the Command have been released, while profiling of suspects yet un-released will be completed, without further delay. The Commission wishes to assure the public that it will not relent in its adherence to the rule of law, in the exercise of its mandate.''the statement read.
